When a Fragrance Already Feels Like Part of the Family
A personal story by Neru featuring Ralph Lauren’s Polo EST. 67.
VX Media talent Neru created a personal story around Ralph Lauren’s Polo EST. 67 for the brand’s Father’s Day campaign. Rather than starting with the fragrance itself, she begins with something already familiar to her: a scent her dad genuinely wears and loves.
That existing connection gives the film its point of view. Polo 67 is introduced through Neru’s own experience with her father, making the recommendation feel less like a product pitch and more like sharing something she already associates with him.
The fragrance naturally becomes part of the relationship at the center of the film. Its fresh citrus and woody character is introduced alongside Neru’s own observations, while the gift set fits into a story built around knowing someone well enough to understand what they would actually enjoy.
At VX Media, we love working with talents who can bring something of their own into a brand story. Neru’s approach shows how personal experience can give a familiar product a more genuine and relatable place within the content.
