How VX Media Turned Sound, Color and Motion into a Visual Experience

A softer, more sensory side of our production work.

For Nespresso × Oatly, VX Media explored a softer, more sensory visual direction. Compared with some of our previous Nespresso work, this film takes on a different feel through its soft pinks, warm orange tones, bubbles, creamy textures, and fluid movement. Together, these elements give the film a light, almost dreamlike quality.
Sound plays just as important a role as the visuals. With no dialogue, the film leans into ASMR inspired details, from ice dropping into a glass to pouring, stirring, and squeezing. These small sounds draw attention to the textures and actions on screen, turning simple product moments into something satisfying to watch and hear.
Movement carries that feeling from one scene to the next. Hands, glasses, and ingredients move vertically through the frame, with one action sliding smoothly into another. Combined with live action and VFX, these transitions create a continuous flow through the film, eventually leading to the final Nespresso machine and capsule reveal.
For VX Media, this project adds another visual direction to our growing body of work with Nespresso. From more product focused pieces to lifestyle driven stories and this softer, more sensory approach, each project takes shape around its own creative needs. It is exciting to see how different combinations of color, sound, movement, and production techniques can give each piece its own character.
