Elevating Brand Storytelling Through CGI: SK-II x @valslooks

A strategically crafted CGI moment designed to translate brand vision into a lasting, high-impact visual asset.

In partnership with Valerie Zhang (@valslooks), VX Media developed an out-of-home CGI video that reimagines how SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence can exist within a contemporary, social-first landscape. Set against the New York City skyline, the campaign introduces a visually elevated concept that translates the brand’s core themes into a dynamic, social-first format.

The activation centers on a carefully constructed narrative in which the product appears at scale within the skyline before being playfully retrieved and used by Val. VX Media’s execution emphasizes a balance between visual spectacle and narrative clarity, ensuring that the content remains both attention-grabbing and cohesive while aligning with SK-II’s emphasis on confidence and self-expression.

A defining feature of the campaign is its seamless looping structure, designed to sustain viewer engagement and encourage repeat interaction. Through approaching the asset with longevity in mind, the campaign was able to develop a format that performs effectively across platforms while maintaining its visual and conceptual integrity over time.

Since its release, the collaboration video has generated over 35K views on Val’s personal platform. The work underscores VX Media’s continued focus on delivering high-quality, enduring content that reflects both brand objectives and creator voice, while reinforcing its commitment to producing strategically driven, visually distinctive campaigns.
